The individual giving manager is responsible for coordinating fundraising strategies to promote growth for institutions.
An individual giving manager is responsible for maximizing fundraising results for an organization. They reach donors through the development of solicitation plans to meet the budgeted income goals. They are responsible for keeping current donors informed and engaged and for implementing strategies to cultivate, solicit, and steward prospective donors. They may also execute direct mail and online strategies for donor retention, new donor acquisition, and donor upgrades.
The individual giving manager collaborates with team members across the organization to gather stories, images, and programmatic information to be used in solicitation strategies. Utilizing strategic and analytical skills in managing business applications to support data-informed decisions, they drive fundraising efforts among individuals, corporations, foundations, and volunteer organizations to secure support for operating needs and any special initiatives of an institution.
