Operations Manager

The person who coordinates logistics for concert venues and ensemble schedules.

An operations manager oversees the concert production for an ensemble, supervising the stage crew and personnel manager. They often coordinate with the venue by renting space, scheduling, and sourcing equipment. The operations manager is responsible for making sure the ensemble is complying with any union contracts for musicians and stage crew, in addition to complying with guest artist contracts. An operations manager coordinates with other departments in the organization, advising scheduling and programming for the ensemble.
